This project is a kinetic identity system created for a fictional 826 store, a series of writing tutoring centers supported by storefronts that sell ridiculous items. With thorough ethnographic of the city Montgomery, Alabama, I discovered a high percentage of the population employed in politics, and a higher percentage of the population uninformed about politics. Thus the idea to create a storefront exploring and educating about political systems, but in a light and silly way: “The Foundation for the Founding of Nations”—everything you’d need to start your own sovereign country and political system.
