This is a digital publication using the content of a This American Life episode about following the life of a toxic asset the Planet Money team purchased. When interacting with the publication, users are invited to pick their own toxic asset to purchase and name, and follow it’s progress as they progress through the acts of the story. The content is also divided, studio recordings are represented in text, while field recordings are playable in the black folder sections.
This project involved using CSS3 webkit animations, writing a custom jQuery audio player and a custom webfont for the titles.
